A small tribute
« on: July 08, 2023, 11:20:27 PM »
This isn't an easy post to write but I need to share with someone and as far as bowhunting goes I can think of no better campfire than this one.
On May 18th my dad was killed in an accident at work. While he never hunted with a traditional bow he enjoyed hunting despite rarely having time to go. The majority of the time his arrows were fletched with two red and one white fletchings with no cresting or wrap.
So in memory of my dad this fall and for the foreseeable future that is how my arrows and my sister's arrows will be built.
Sorry for the rambling and being a bit of a downer, thanks for listening y'all and keep em flying straight.
Hunting is the fun part, once you kill something the work begins

James, I travelled that road just shy of 12 months ago. Like Kenny said, it's a tough road..

Praying for peace and comfort for you and your family my friend.

The arrows are a sweet tribute indeed.

Best
Lex
Good hunting to you all.
May the wind be your friend, and may your arrows fly true,
Most of all, may the appreciation and the gratitude of what we do keep us humble......

My Dad and my Grandpaw are always with me on my hunts. The woods are a special place to share with special loved ones. I hope you have a wonderful season in knowing your loved ones are right there sharing the hunt with you . Shoot straight and enjoy every minute.

Very sorry for your loss.

May your dad's memory be eternal.
Prayer changes things.
