Homemade woodchuck Taper tool anyone ?

Hi Guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here..life gotten in the way, so I kinda took a backseat to everything, I've been getting back into building wood arrows. And would like to know if anyone has built a homemade taper tool to use with there disk sander. Since the woodchuck isn't no longer being built ??.
Thanks a million 😊

I use the angle block sold by many places, 3Rivers (sponsor)where I got mine .......
I take that and mount it parallel to the platen of a cheap Ryobi combo sander (belt/disc). Been using that for probably 12 or so years now and it works perfectly. It's nice to have the belt available too for stuff here and there, like setting the bevels on broadheads. This is a very cost effective dedicated wood arrow makin' machine

I put a sanding disk in my table saw. Simple matter to make a couple of taper boards (nock, 11 degrees and point, 5 degrees) to guide the shaft into the disk .

I made my own angle "block" for use on my table saw. Put my 10 inch sanding disk on the saw and I can taper 5 or 11 1/2 degrees in seconds and they are prefect.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Think since I like making stuff, I'll try and make myself one before buying taper block.
