BBO & bamboo w/nodes on belly -

Anyone have experience making and using bows with this? Searching other threads on this, my understanding is they are using bamboo flooring or such.  I'm actually interested in bamboo outer "shell" with nodes on the belly along with the BB back of osage core.
Years ago I saw bows by Vinson Minor(?) and others doing this.
Does the bamboo belly (i.e. nodes) break down over time?  I have a BBO tillered that I'm going to try this on and wanted some others input that have used bows like this over time.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

Give J.D. Jones a call.  He builds a lot of this style and can really help you over the learning curve.
