Flu flus quick style
« on: October 15, 2023, 05:21:16 PM »
A couple flu flus done quick. Been forever and tapered the nicks with the wrong side so cut them down a 1/4” with a miter box. Yes it’s spray paint. Yeah I got on a hurry and nicked the shaft scraping away the hot glue. They fly better than my aluminum arrows have 10 more shafts time to buy a fletching jig…or not…have a stash of .38 special casings 48 more feathers a dozen or so 11/32 nocks and the squirrels are thick

Another good option for small game and a favorite here on TG a few years back is the "nutter", a 3/8" hex nut screwed on the point taper of a wood shaft. The nut add the shock and the small amount of taper sticking out the other side of the nut adds a little penetration. A little super glue locks the nut on and hardens the point. Cheap and effective.
