Blood on new bow
« on: November 09, 2023, 06:01:26 PM »
I received a new Treadway Black Forest 60” 47@28 back in April, thought it was time to give my 20 year old Treadway a vacation. Mike said I needed to get blood on the new one so I did what he told me to do. I got this 9 pt at 8 yards, complete pass through, short track

Scott, after about 6 years shooting trad with unsuccessful hunting I got my Treadway long bow from Mike and the next hunting season I got my "first blood" and I give credit to Mike for it. I named that bow "first blood" and when Mike reduced the weight a little for me and refinished the bow he permanently added "first blood 9/19/99" to the bow. I still have that bow and it is definitely my favorite trad bow.
Congrats on the for the deer and the blood on your new Treadway bow. Mike is a powerful force in the our trad world and I'm proud to say a good friend of mine.
