I have just about every model of Great Northern bows except the Bushbow but I have been thinking about one as my next bow. I do know that it is Jerry's and Rick's personal favorite. That should say something for it. If I can come up with the skins I want on it I may order one this year.

I've got two Jackknife Bushbows; pretty much all I shoot anymore. I like them better than the GN Critter Gitter by a hair; the Bushbow has cleaner lines, since there's no tip overlays...both are great bows; quiet and stable. Spring for the Jackknife feature; I think it's the simplest and most effective takedown system made.

I consider a "Jack Knife" folding "Critter Gitter" to be one of the all-time great hunting bows. I like a trim bow and therefore prefer this to the Bushbow, but the Bushbow is a great hunting bow in its own right. I've never heard of a single failure w/ the "Jack Knife" system and its hinge along w/ a standard grip makes for an excellent handle.

I have the Fireball and the Super Ghost and love them both--but I am trying to make up my mind between another fireball or critter gitter or bushbow. At this time I can only dream because of house fixups etc. are first priority right now--Elf.

I currently have two Bushbow's. I like them alot. They are great performers. I also have had Critter Gitters and a Fireball. The Critter Gitter is also a very fine longbow. Great customer service at Great Northern.
