Wasn’t sure where to post this request. Kick over somewhere more appropriate if necessary.
I’m making a quiver from a bobcat skin. Tanned it with eggs as an experiment. I need to make it more flexible. Can I rehydrate and use a commercial tanning solution now?

When egg tanning you can rehydrate, add the egg yokes again and break again. You can repeat the breaking process as many times as needed until you’re happy. And give it a smoke between to lock in the softening.
