I'm pretty much self taught....well, Tradgang taught. When I made the decision to shoot traditional style bows, I had no idea the path it would take me on. Somewhere on here is a story I never finished about a buck I shot and did not recover until the following spring. Part of that story spoke of me putting the stick bow down for awhile.
Well, that has passed. I love archery too much and was determined to climb back in the saddle. This past year had me reflecting on what equipment I shoot the best and refocusing on my strength and health. As much as I love wood bows, I knew an aluminum riser has always been good to me. I bought a Morrison, paired it with some Javaman longbow limbs and didn't touch another bow all summer.
We did not have the number of shooters this year as we had in the past, but the one we did have was way too comfortable. I actually got a pic of him darn near under my stand on opening day as he looked towards the sunflower field I was in.
