Bear Razorheads or Zwickey Eskimos?

I have a few old (1960's) Bear Razorheads that weigh 110 grains give or take (without the bleeders).  I typically hunt with Zwickey Eskimos that weigh 125-130.  

I want to make up some new arrows with one or the other.  Will 20 grains make any realistic difference in penetration?  How about the construction of the Bears vs. the Eskimos?  What do you all think?  Thanks.

Not that I have been able to tell.

I've shot both types broadheads for years,they both fly the same to me.

If you shoot wood arrows,you can also have 10-20grs. weight differance between your shafts also.

Not a big deal and it isn't likely to make a detectable "tuning difference  but if it matters to you you can bring the weight of the Razorheads up to match by dropping a couple of .177 airgun pellets into the ferrule. Just about all standard lead .177 pellets weigh between 7 and 8.2 grains each

Shooting wise I doubt that you will be able to tell the difference.  The Razorhead has proven itself thousands of times, but the Zwickey is tougher and better steel, IMO.

How many times have these heads been sharpened. When I finally bought a digital gram scale I was amazed that I could take off 5 grains or more with every modest file tune-up! Assuming both heads shoot perfectly, you're always better off with the heavier head with hardest steel, in case you should hit bone. Greater weight means greater penetration, and Dr. Ashby has proven the worth of heavy heads for front-of-center balance, which also enhances penetration. You didn't say what you'll be hunting. For little blacktails I doubt it makes much difference, unless you hit a scapula. For big muleys or bear, I'd go with the heavier heads, and for those big European boar and elk, neither one is adequate. All of my older lighter heads have been demoted to turkey arrows, or with the tips filed off for a quarter-inch-wide chisel point, rabbits. Dave

The Razorheads have been sharpened by me once, but I don't know how many times before I got them.  The Eskimos are new.  I hunt blacktails and elk (and turkeys if I could ever hit one--I've found out they duck!).  Thanks for the advice all.
