Reflections of a Bowaholic - Antique Bow

I had a lot of lawn to mow today and combined it with some shooting and some thinking, which produced some good thoughts and some funny thoughts and which somehow prompted the universe to bless me with a lovely antique longbow I wasn't even expecting.
I was going to post it here, but it all got too long and with too many pictures, so I posted it as a web page. Here's a short link:

Aside from the beautiful bow, there's some food for thought here, especially if you are a new shooter or one with limited means.

Yes I also like old and new bows the old are still working good but still I desire a new high tech arrow thrower when these thoughts pass I still like to shoot my old Bear Kodiak or an old browning after all those years they still work I own far too many bows but love them all old and new so I guess that makes me also a Bowaholic

Dick - I too am a confessed bowaholic. I have a few of the older bows, but I really like to check out the latest versions. In fact, I have just found the ONE bow I have vowed to keep for all time.
Your webpage was an enjoyable read!
Thanks for sharing,

That was fun. Nice little blog. I to tend to agree with your traditional thoughts.

I think too many folks were missing that antique bow because it wasn't in the title, so I edited the title
