First *successful* bow
« on: March 19, 2024, 08:37:30 PM »
About finished up with my first successful (for now) bow. I've had quite  few hiccups long the way but got them figured out have ideas to prevent them on the next one. I still have to do the finish sanding and spray it. Might take the throat of the grip in more, never really shot. Forward handle before. Bow is 56 @28 walnut with curly maple.

Just wanted to say thanks for everyone on her that has shared knowledge and help decrease the learning curve. You guys are awesome.

Cool!  Nice work… :clapper:

I still have the first long bow I built from a Binghams kit. I haven’t strung that bow in years…I think that was 2006 when I built it.    Kirk

I appreciate all of the encouragement. Just flung a few dozen arrows and the bow shoots as good as I can. And Bo-R there will definitely be more to come. I'd already have the supplies ordered if someone didn't steal my debit card number...

You learn a lot on your first one.
Nice Job :bigsmyl:
