Dating a Schafer recurve
«

I just picked up a used one piece Schafer recurve and I was wondering if there was any way to tell how old the bow is. It is numbered #803. I'm truly fortunate to have this bow. Everything I imagined this bow to be is proving itself as I shoot it. A complete testament to Paul and his greatness.
Thank you in advance

Since no one has been able to answer you, i would give Dave Windauer a call at Schafer Silvertip bows. He started out with Paul when he was a teenager and can probably give you an answer. Good luck in your search!
