Strung Sweetheart by Mike and Ed I have several pictures of Ed and Me working on this bow in the two years that we did it!
I have a Gary Davis and an Ed Scott Bow blank for sale as well as a bow that Ed and I made together that is one of his Sweet Heart designs.
This Sweet Heart of Ed and I's is one of the very last bows that Ed worked on and one of the very last that has his art work on it. The bow was roughed out here by Ed and I at a bow class that we held in 2014 and then tillered and Ed did the art work. It has not been touched since Ed passed away a few months after we worked on it. The bow is sinew and rawhide backed in ash and not sealed. I can do artwork on it and seal it if you like.
The other Ed Scott blank is a Osage Hunting bow that Ed backed and still has his writing on it. It has not been tillered and a customer of Ed's messed up the handle so Ed glued a handle section on and I cut it out on the saw to shape it.
The Gary Davis blank is one that I am selling for a friend that Gary glued up and has never been touched and still has all the info that Gary wrote on it. This blank will make an outstanding hunting bow and rings like a tuning fork when tapped, very seasoned osage!
