Big River Longbow
« on: May 19, 2008, 08:55:00 PM »
I bought a Big River R/D longbow about a month back. It is my first longbow
.
The bow has a Yew and black phenolic riser. The core woods are bamboo with Yew veneers. It's 66" 53# @28" and I'm drawing it 30-1/2" with no noticeable stack.

After three weeks of shooting I am here to say it is the nicest shooting bow in terms of smoothness, stability and speed that I have ever laid my hands on. Furthermore it is whisper quiet which is a quality I was never been able to obtain in any of the recurves I've owned.

If you are thinking R/D longbow you might want to give the Big River Bows a look.
