Selfbows?

Are selfbows harder to shoot? Does
Any one know where to look for a
selfbow. I like the character bows
Specifically like with knot holes and
such. Thanks

Probably the best known bowyer of self bows on the West coast is John Strunk https://spiritlongbow.com/  I have owned several of his bows over the years, which I have enjoyed.

Many people make their own self bows.  There is a section of TradGang devoted to that, and some events, like the Tennessee Classic, feature self bow building contests, as well as participants and vendors who sell self bows.  The Tennessee Classic just finished for this year, but you should check it out next year.  Here are some photos of people building self bows there, and some of the results of their efforts.
