Can't ID this bow
« on: September 09, 2024, 09:55:08 PM »
Hey Guys,
I've followed the site for a while, but wasn't registered.  I got into trad a few years back and have been bitten by the bug bad.  Converted lifelong compound shooter.   Recently decided that I'd like to get into refinishing some vintage stuff and perhaps shooting with a bow older than I am, hahaha.  Found the bow attached for super cheap and the guy selling it claimed he thought it was a vintage Bear.  I don't have it in my possession, but the guy says there is no info printed on it and it is 52" long tip to tip.
I did a lot of homework and while it looks vaguely like a 1963 Kodiak magnum "dogleg", there's enough line differences that I don't think that's it and I cant find anything else in the vintage Bear lineup that matches this.

TLDR

Does anyone have any ideas on what kind of bow this could be just by the profile of it?

Ps.  I'm not hanging all my hopes on this random mystery bow (I grabbed up deal on a mid 70s Kodiak hunter), but not knowing what this thing is after hours of research is bothering me.

Any help is appreciated!
