Portable bow rack idea
« on: September 02, 2024, 07:26:11 AM »
Hello everyone it’s been a while since I posted anything here but I’ve been somewhat
“Tinkering” in my shop while planning some future events I want to attend and hunts .
Well a few weeks back I was in my reclining chair trying to watch something on tv and my wife and girls have our house starting to look like a laundry mat with all kinds of gizmos with their clothing hanging everywhere .
So I had to actually get out of my seat fussing as I had to move this weird contraption that was blocking my view of the screen.
As I moved it and sat back down a 200,000 watt lightbulb went off inside my head and I actually went out to my shop and strung up one bow and grabbed another unstrung to test my idea.
Here is what I found and I liked it so much but my wife wasn’t parting ways with hers.
So yesterday I went to Wally World and bought me one for $30.00 and change.
Hope someone here can benefit from it and this will be used in my shop, tent, and events as well.
It’s actually very sturdy but if it worry’s you that it may fall over you can cut a triangle piece of plywood and use bungee straps attached somehow or just simply take some tent stakes if placed outside and stake it down and use those ball straps to attach to the legs so wind gusts won’t force it to fall over.
Use your imagination and I hope it will help someone planning a trip and need a place to hang gear and bows.
Notice I placed 5 bows on one arm up top in one picture and back quivers ,hats etc.
Even have a child’s bow on bottom arm in one picture.
