A shout out to “Big Jim”
« on: September 10, 2024, 06:55:20 AM »
I just want to make a shout out to “Big Jim “ for an excellent tutorial I found a few years ago that’s out there . Without his step by step tutorial on installing a beavertail grip I wouldn’t have the confidence to even have tried a beavertail as an option on my bow grips.
Here’s several I have done in the past year and most recently and hope it’s ok with posting this ?

Forgot to post what bows are what.
The brown beavertail and first 3 pictures are on a Chad Holms I was recently gifted from a close friend for doing some plumbing for him .
  It’s a River Runner static .
The second is my black and white Hurst Prans static and the third or last picture was my Kota Killum I sold to a good friend and it was my very first beavertail grip I attempted .
Most importantly I couldn’t have done it without Big Jim’s tutorial and easy step by step instructions .
   Thanks again Big Jim…..

I'm guessing that process could be used on most any leather grip - not just beavertail.
I do like the look of beavertail grips though. Yours look fantastic - nice job!

Well done! I love Beavertail and have got to give it a go. Yes, Jim has so much to offer from products to knowledge. We are fortunate to have him.
