Utah's Land Grab History

This may have been the result of the Fed's locking up land to prevent EXPORTATION, for the search of Rare Earth minerals by mining companies. I recall the Feds had expanded the area of several National Parks. Here is some history on the subject.      https://suwa.org/land-grab/

Nope, the government doesn't want the state to have control of public lands because Utah has a history of selling state lands to the highest bidder. Rather than free use, open land...The state would much rather see tax dollars pouring in from our public lands being changed into cabin properties, high end developments, ski resorts, golf courses, etc...
