Value of Massie Longbow

I need the help of those who know the value of Massie Longbows. Generaly speaking, what is the value of a Massie Longbow in like new condition?

If it helps, I paid about $300 shipped for my Longhorn, which was way cheaper than several others i have seen for sale.  Check the classifieds/do a search for "Massie" in the bows for sale forum to get a good idea of what I'm talking about.

How old is it...if its one of Jeff's last bows those were the best...if its Lefty 100 bucks...I"ll buy it if its a lefty///zLOL.

It is a 44 lb left hand Longhorn, high gloss finish that looks like new.

They sold new for $600-800.  About $300-400 would be reasonable if it is in real good shape.

Age, condition, name on bow, lams used, palm swell, wood combinations, use of carbon, length of bow, grip material, weight of pull, one piece or takedown, and right or left hand are all used to determine the value of your Massie "Longhorn". Of course the most important factor is how much the buyer is willing to pay. I'm right handed so your bow would not interest me, but Mark, the bayoulongbowman above shoots from the wrong side of the bow, so he might be just the man to take it off your hands, if it is for sale.

Jeff's bows shoot great, but what really sets them apart is the craftsmanship.  I've seen a lot of high end bows now, and his are among the best of them.  
Having said that, I think wustix is spot on with the value.  Jeff isn't making them anymore and some people are jacking up the asking price b/c of that, but he could always decide to start making them again (please!   )

I've owned about 10 of Jeff's Longhorns in the past and since he stopped making them, they are worth about $375-$450 on the market today.  I've currently got 2 of them and won't consider selling either of them.

Jeff is a very class act and I sure miss visiting with him in Shiner.
