Cooked up my little pig!
« on: March 20, 2025, 08:16:34 PM »
I ground up my little pig from Crane, and seasoned it really good and put some really good chicken sausage with it and did some rice as well.

It's super good, wish I could hunt as good as outdoor cook! Soooo good! Oh beans too! And beer!

Everything is better when cooked in a cast iron Dutch Oven.  :goldtooth:

Yeah Roy I just got back from my parents, and went back there to clean up. There was only six bottles,I think I'm becoming a light weight :biglaugh: I felt pretty drunk!

David on stuff like this I just take one of those steel scouring brushes, and get it really clean then dry them in the oven. I have a very small skillet that I make potatoes and my peppers and onions and cook them in olive oil in the morning, and I just wipe that out with paper towels and keep letting that thing get more and more seasoned. That doesn't work with the water or stock based stuff.
