Resaw king vs Tri master

I've went through 2 tri masters on my bandsaw over the last couple years. Have been looking into the resaw king, it is slightly cheaper and laguna website says the can be resharpened 4-5 times. No one around me will ReSharpen my tri master.

Anyone have experience with the resaw king? I should say I would be using them for cutting out risers with phenolic and or g10/glass Accents.

I'm on my first Lenox Die master 2 blade and I've probably been through a few hundred yards of resawing. I can tell it's slowed, but still got plenty of life left. Now I'm wondering if I can resharpen mine as well.. my neighbor has a saw mill blade sharpening setup. Wonder if that would work.. is there a service for sending these things off for sharpening?

I have a carbide Resaw King from Laguna.  It has been through a bunch of Osage and still cutting strong - haven't had to sharpen it yet. But I bought it because of the claim it could be re-sharpened 4-5 times.

I wouldn't be using it for resawing as much as just cutting through nasty chit like phenolic, glass and dymondwood.  I've only gotten about 20 risers cut out from each of my tri masters before they started to struggle. Which is slightly disappointing considering the price point. Regular bi metal blades are worthless on dymondwood and phenolic.

Yep G-10 and phenolic will trash a regular blade after just a few passes.

Are you running a 4 TPI carbide tip blade?

 Kirk, 3TPi is all they offer for the tri master. My blade is 1/2".
