I'm trying to tune my CE 250's, but first some back ground.
I'm shooting a 47#@28" bruin recurve, my arrows are CE 250 cut to 29 1/4" to the nock(bareshaft). I tried shooting them with 175's up front and am getting too much kick to the left (i'm a lefty) which says to me that it is too stiff. So i tried a 200 grn field point and i'm still getting alittle kick to the left at about 7 yards but it looks good at around 12-15 yards. Now the strange part  , when i go to around 25-30 yards i get a Hard kick to the right, which say thats it's too weak, right? So then i added the Gold tip weight system 20grn insert and at 20 yards or so it looks good, but when i go back up to 7 it's kickin left, and then when i go back to 30 it's hard to the right. I cant figure it out....
Ok so i tried to put the 200gn tip plus the 20gn insert ( for a total of 220gn)on one with fletching, and at all distances (except like 10ft) it flew nice and straight, but i did notice a little, and i mean very little (maybe 1/2" side to side) movement left to right, kinda squirrely, but it still hit straight when it connected.
So what do you guys think i should do?
Thanks
Paul.
