1964 Bear Grizzly[no more]
« on: May 26, 2008, 01:16:00 PM »
Wanting to donate something to the St.Judes auction I thought my old 64 grizzly would get the collectors interrested.Haven't looked at it in a couple of years and to my surprise the top limb laminations seperated on both sides of the wedge, the shelf cracked down into the grip area and a3-4" crack ran down the middle of the top limb too.Shot 4-5 arrows thru it 2-3 years ago and put it up in a closet.Lots of old memories there, missed my 1st. deer with it and took 5 groundhogs one afternoon with it and 3 blade bodkins. The only old bow I ever kept.Looks like everyone looses this time!!!

Sorry to here about that John. I have an old Bear Grizzly that delaminated as well I have held on to it since. I have alot of good memories with that one and I keep it around just to remind me of those early days roving around flinging arrows.
