BBB power lam material?
« on: June 02, 2008, 11:17:00 PM »
I am planning another Bamboo backed bow using osage or Ipe as the core wood. Will mahogany work as a power lam material?

Thanks

Should be fine.  I just glued up a tri-lam with cypress for the center core.  I don't think the material matters much.  Just don't use balsa!
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

Thanks Apex!  Sounds like you got the bug!  I'm getting it back!

Any luck getting in FLETC ?
