I'd like a free standing one that I can display a lot of bows on at shoots.  Kind of an "A" frame type of thing that folds up.  Pretty simple but I can't seem to find time to do one.  I also need one that goes on the wall that holds a lot of bows.  I guess I'm hinting here.  I have some in stock bows here for trade material.  Chad

I've posted these before on other threads, but I guess I'll throw them out again.

Here's what the ones I made for my den look like:

This one can be be set up freestanding using the "feet" or mounted on the wall...

Or, in it's current configuration- "leaning" while loaded as the man can is being refinished!    :D

I used some antlers and put toggle bolts in the base and into the wall.

Here is the beginning of mine. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I don't think my wife will let me hang a tree across my living room though.

Steven Russell,

What keeps your bows from falling off the pegs when they are not strung? I like what you have.

Blaine,

I just slip the peg between the string and the bow on top while the string stays in the nock groove on the bottom.

Steve, I love the arrow-bow match. (stone/wood, steel/glass.) Nice touch!

Nothing fancy, but it works.Cost less than $10 and about an hour of my time. Red oak board with 3 pegs, finished with about 4 coats of tung oil.

Scott, if you want a rack like this, I'd be happy to make one for you.
