Was wondering about Pauls son Hunter. Anyone here know what became of him, what he is up to, if he hunts, etc? I know he was 4 at the time of Schafers death in 93', so he should be 19 or 20 bout now. Anyone know?

Ian,
That's totally on when his birthday was at the time his father died. If it was later that year, he would now be 19 and would turn 20 this year. Otherwise, if his birthday was before his father died, he will turn 19 this year.

Paul's son, Hunter Bertlesen, lives in Portland with his mom and comes back to the Flathead Valley every once in a while to visit Paul's sister and her son. He lived with Paul's sister for 4 months or so during 2006. During that time he built a bow with Dave and did some shooting, but never ended up bowhunting. He seemed to lose interest in archery/bowhunting near the end of his short stint living back in MT.

Bertelsen is the last name of Hunter's mother. Paul and Hunter's mom were never married.
