Straighten (they don't need to be perfect like a carbon shaft) if the nock is on correctly they WILL fly right.
Stain- any stain you like, make sure it will work with your glues.
Seal- I use two coats of Super Coat
check for straight again.
crown dip- I like yellow. 8" to 10" it's all personal preference.
Crest the shaft- again, colors and how many are up to you.
Fletch with good feather fletches.
