I owned a Vortex 47#@28" and 58" length.I pull 28" and no stack. It was a great shooter being very, very accurate and quiet. The foward handle makes it very accurate. Mine only weighted 1 1/4 lb.which is light but put a lite bow quiver on it will let you shoot more accurate. Trade for it! Ken

Greg,
I have a 62", 59#@28" Vortex with ziricote riser and waterfall ash veneers. Beautiful bow, excellent workmanship, very smooth, QUIET, and seems (not chronographed)faster than my BW PL longbows. They're very nice bows - go for it!

Mine is 56# @28"--camo actionwood riser and limbs. Its the only one piece bow I have and I love the light weight. Its smooth and fast and pretty forgiving of a bad realease. Took a deer with it last season.

Had a 56" Vortex. I liked the grip (had the heel option). As has been said, very light, quick and smooth to 28". If I was going to have another I would want it to be a little longer. The 56" would be great for a blind but I did not shoot consistently with it. Also, it is a light bow and I would want to weight it with something to be more stable. Other guys don't have these issues and I'm sure the bow is fine for them. As with all RER products you won't be dissapointed it's durability and speed.

I have one that is 62" long, 56@28". It has a dymondwood riser with a bow bolt takedown system that gives it some mass weight. Shoot extremely quitely and smoothly. Very forgiving bow.
