My second whisperstik has Honduras Rosewood in the riser, bamboo core lambs, at least that's what I think. I haven't gotten the e-mail yet that JD sends out to tell you that it's on the way. But I'm looking forward to that e mail, But as you can see, he is a busy man, that's because he is also a talented bow maker. The best thing I like about JD, he is down to earth, his bows haven't gone to his head, he talks to you just like as if he has known you for years, and you are his best friend. He is a great person to work with when getting a new bow. I don't think he is one of the " up and coming" bow makers, I think he is one of the top-notch bow makers in the nation.
I could be a little biased, but any time you can take one his bows, any of them, and shoot it like you've shot it for years, from the very first time, that shows he has talent, and he extends it into his bows. Cool
And any time somebody is in the area shoot me a PM, and you can shoot my whisperstik's and you will see the difference.
