"MOHAWK" got here Thursday (see photos)
« on: June 21, 2008, 04:54:00 PM »
My new Mohawk came in the mail Thursday and I could not be more pleased. It is everything that Rob D. said it was! I put a set of beaver balls and a nock point on the string and it is quiet.Vience put darker bamboo on it as I requested for camo purpose. Cocoboa handle and a red and black flemished string with yellow serving made is look sharp. It is a perfect D-shape longbow and really pleasing to just look at. To say it shoots great is a understatment because it does not want to miss so you have to hold to the side of the first arrow in the target so it does not get damaged. It is 47#@28" and 64" length and I am shooting AD Trad-Lites cut 29" and weight 540 grains with a 200 grain field point. Without a point the arrow is 340 grains. This bow handles it wonderfully. It is as fast as any lonbow I have shot! Enjoy the photos. Ken

Ken,welcome to the "MOHAWK TRIBE". Vince sure made a beauty for you there. I really like the dark Boo. Man oh man very nice piece of cocoabolla as well. I just received a new 3-d deer target for Fathers Day  the old one I destroyed the vitals beyond repair with mine. Enjoy it and good hunting. We'll all have to send Vince some pictures after the Hunting Season starts.By the way I sent a picture to Vince of an idea I have for my next one.
