U-Finish bow
« on: June 23, 2008, 08:31:00 PM »
I just purchased a U-Finish longbow from Crow`s Head Outfitters and am looking for ideas on how to build a handle or shape the handle. Does anyone have pics of handle work they have done on similiar bows? Would really appreciate seeing them.
Joe.

Haven`t shot it yet. I ordered one for my grandson and one for myself. The bows come ready to shoot but need finish sanding and shaping on the handle and, of course, a protective finish. I`m told you lose two or three pounds draw weight due to the sanding so I ordered the bow to be a little heavier than I normaly shoot. I ordered the "short" longbows, about 59in. For the price, you can`t really go wrong.
Joe.
