Just thought I would make a video showing how easy and forgiving these bows are to shoot, again I do not claim to be an exhibition shooter just wanted to show the various ways they can be shot, hope you enjoy it!

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to send the bow or a bow to some special friends to shoot and hunt with for a season then send it to some others, has any of you had a bad experience with this?

thats good shooting. but i dont see why it would be a problem to send it to your friends to hunt with and send it on. If there actually your friends id doubt they would screw you over

No I do not make them to order, I just enjoy them and the process of them I still have a lot to learn, but you never know maybe someday if I can get it perfected right now the bows I have biult seem to shoot really well but to sell one and somebody not be happy would really bother me. Thanks for the kind words though guys I am glad I found this site

Anaconda, I made a copy of Jay Massey's Medicine Bow a few years ago. Sinew backed hickory. The components were all given to me by friends and I put it together. I have sent it to 3 folks(contributers) so far and 2 of the three have taken game; one deer and one hog. After the 3rd takes an animal I will send it to someone else until all of the contributers(including myself) have scored with it. I think this adds to the Medicine of a bow.   Pat

Anaconda ,
That was great and thanks for sharing it with us . I have killed game with longbow and recurve but Im getting a strong desire to take game with a selfbow . Someday soon I plan on getting one and doing just that .

That is exactly what I was thinking about doing, thanks for sharing that, although the only that is contributing would be me, I could contact them with the idea even if it was a string or handle material or something.

Anaconda, I enjoyed it, and thanks for posting it.
I'm getting ready to make my first selfbow and you have added to the enthusiasm.

I'd love to add to the medicine of any of those bows.  Really.  That would be fun, than send it back! :-)
