What is the universe of laminated shafting?

Are there woods laminated into arrow shafts other than birch or HEX Shaft's pine?

I assume you were talking about production wise?! Don't know!
But I have a buddy who did his own shafts from self laminated Black Locust and was quite satisfied with the results. I have used Locust for footings only; Ash and Beech too.
