which axis shafts?

shooting about 60 pounds with a 28 inch arrow. which shafts do i need? thanks

I'd think the 500's would work, but it'd be best to wait for a more "seasoned" opinion...

400's would be my choice. Leave them long and
tune bareshaft. Cut the nock end 1/4 inch until
they tune.    :thumbsup:

400s and do as said above but put 100 grain brass insert in first. I would say a 29" shaft with 250 grains or so would get ya there. Ya may get away with a 500 cut to 28"s and 100 grain brass insert and 125 grain point. Remeber that ya do not want to shoot below 8gpp. Shawn

Yep, what Shawn said will work great.  That is the same set up I shoot.  You could also buy the test kit from 3rivers to save you from buying the wrong shafts.

Yep, you will need the 400's.  I shoot both 400's and 500's out of my 55lb recurve but the 500's are borderline too weak, and I've got them cut down as far as I can go.
