I shoot a 58" Fedora TD and I alwasy use B-50 with endless loop strings. Pretty quite, but room for improvement. I use wool on the string and it helps alot, maybe I will try the limbsavers. Oh yea, arrows are always over 500 usually around 525.

Let me know what you think of the limbsavers after you have used them a little more.

Try a TS1 string.  They are supple like dacron without losing the speed.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Ray, the limbsavers made it alot quieter its not near as sharp sounding, more like a thud..I like limbsavers have had them on most of my bows even the really quiet ones as it takes out any felt vibration thats left and makes the bow feel even better at the shot..alot of people dont like them because of the way they look but when hunting Im not trying for beauty just quiet...

Hatchaser, might give TS-1 a try have had a few strings made from it and they were quiet...

Well heres what finally made the Fedora dead quiet, 7 3/4in. brace, moved string leeches down against puffs, limbsavers, wool around string loop ends, velcro in string grooves.. Then I bareshafted a 2114 shaft until I couldnt see it fly to the target at 30 yds. all you hear is the smack of it hitting, 30 in. shaft w/175 gr. up front total arrow weight w/fletching is 539 gr.
It shot good bareshaft up to 200 gr. just a tad week and down to 145 gr. but a little to stiff, so should be good between 175-200 gr. The bow is deadly quiet now and even though its only 56 in. it shoots like a 60 in. bow, no finger pinch and smooth as butter. Im now happy with my Fedora.
