Wasn't Glenn St. Charles the leader of that?  If not who was and whom else was key in that drive?

I believe you will find it was Roy Case, in Wisconsin, who spearheaded the drive for the first bow season in that state.

Yep, Roy Case was instrumental in the first bow season. This is the deer that was taken in the first season that is on display in the Wisconsin bowhunters museum up in Clintonville, Wis.  Nice place to visit if you got the time.  dino
