Hi Joe
Not sure how long you been shooting a long bow or any traditional one to say the least. But having a consistent grip placement and pressure is a key to shooting them well. A little harder with LB's than recurves because of the grip design. LB's allow you more misplacement than a recurve as a general rule. The only thing that really matters is it works for you.
I know I'm not suppose to, but shoot them like I shoot a recurve straight wrist\\not palm down. Thats a no no, but if done the same every time works least for me! Good example is I have a friend back in MI, healed but busted up wrist. Torques a bowstring at full draw into like a Z, but does it the same every time. He is a good shooter however, and a hard one to beat on the course! Good luck finding what works for you!
