Wool picts from DayOne or Grey Wolf
« on: July 17, 2008, 08:55:00 AM »
I'm trying to decide between a DayOne and GreyWolf wool vest.  I've read lots of posts on both companies, but haven't seen any closeup picts of their wool.  If you have any wool clothing (ASAT or Predator) from either of these two places could you please post a few closeup picts of the wool.

thanks!

I have both but no pics. For the money, I would definitely go with the day one. The wool is a little thinner than the GW. You get all the options for about half (probably less than half now) the price of the GW.

I've been to both companies web sites and have spoken to Jeff at GW.  Neither site has good picts of their wool.  Just trying to get a handle on why there is such a big difference in price between the two companies.  It's hard to drop that kind of $$ without actually touching the stuff.  Some good picts would be the next best thing.

IMO there is little difference in the wool, the Day One is just much more competitively priced.

If you ask, each of them might send you a small material sample for comparison.
