Grizzly heads?
« on: July 18, 2008, 09:59:00 AM »
I am sure I probally have missed if question has been asked. Has anyone asked Grizzly broadheads if you can get heads that have not been ground at all? I was thinking that way I could grind the angle to match left wing feathers and not loose as much width. I have tried calling there phone number several times I just get there recording. I thought I would post here and see if anyone had asked instead of bothering them to call me back.

A few guys have obtained "blanks" from Grizzly and left beveled them.  That was before the current rage and I've not heard of anyone getting blanks recently.  Using a blank would still be better than trying to convert a right beveled Grizzly head but it still yields less than perfect results due to the way the laminations lay on the Grizzly, they'd be better off reversed for a left beveled head.

Tusker can get you "blanks" and Zwickey and Eclipse have left beveled heads available.  Your only option for Grizzly blanks is straight from Grizzly, and well...good luck.    :help:

Thanks, I thought that they probally offset the two peices to reduse the materials and grinding work.
