string length

I am fairly new to traditional archery and was curious about string length functions as to weight of a recurve.  If a recurve is a little to stout or weak for you can you alter the string length by shortening or lengthening to make a recurve draw weight fit you.

It will affect the draw weight slightly, but not enough to do what you referred to.

ok, didnt know for sure. I knew that string stretch would sometimes effect draw weight but didnt know the amount of effect.  Didnt know if 1/2 inch or less would help on string length
