Thanks for the tip on the new style riser that RER has.. I agree with you.. Its nicer than the old..Sweet to hear its more forgiving as well.. I was looking used, but may have to curb my enthusiasm for something "right away" and wait to have a new one built..

I have had a lot of nice bows, but never even shot an RER...  Sounds like it would even "spank" my Big East bows...  Sounds like the bowyer is a nicer person as well.  "[dntthnk]"

 The wait on RER is worth every lousy minute and nicer people to find than Kevin and Sue will hard to do.

 And what Tom said, worth the wait and Kevin and Sue are great to work with. Shot my friend's (Kevin G.) XR, came home and talked with Kevin, and put in my order for one with a second set of limbs. Now the wait!

George i can miss with anything. Gene they may have an in stock one that fits ya as well!! i am really liking it, I have it tuned to perfection and it is super quiet, no woodchucks this evening but maybe tomorrow! Thanks guys! Shawn

Nice looking bow Shawn. Love those Waterfall Bubinga veneers!


This fall I should have my LXR. I still hesitate on the thought of both longbow and recurve limbs. I worry that I will really like one over the other and thus one collects dust.

RER's always made some nice shooting bows, but there's nothing they've ever had that shoots like this new XR.  Something magic here.

This bow smokes and it is very quiet. I shot it yesterday in my daughters basement and it was by far the quietest of the five bows we shot. Shawn
