Snag's advice is solid. FYI, a legitimate 2-on-1 outfitted public lands hunt in my prime elk part of CO goes for $3600, more or less. This is generally 7 days, with 5 days of actual hunting and pure fair chase (most, if not all, less-than fair chase hunts are conducted on private land and cost a LOT more). So, if this is a legit operation (and I know nothing of them, so can't say yeah or nay), it's a good enough deal to cover your tags if not your travel, etc. As Snag suggests, determining the fair-chase status of any outfitted hunt, or not, is essential. Bottom line: I would go with a known and proven commodity, as verified by former client references with no vested interests. The best trad archery outfitter I know here in CO is booked solid this year, feeling zero pressure to claim a fire sale due to gas prices, etc. There is no such thing as a "bargain" elk hunt (unless you have an "inside" friend). My 2 pence, and best luck, d
