Bloodwood Riser Pictures
« on: July 23, 2008, 11:02:00 AM »
Anyone got a bow with Bloodwood in the riser? I am looking at getting a bow with this wood in the riser and wanted to see some pictures of it in risers. I have looked at blocks of it but wanted to see it in a riser. I also thought it might look better with a hand polished finish on it also. Thanks Flint

Check out my post on the thread...Anyone own an Orion t/d longbow.  I have a Dryad Orion with Bloodwood and it is purty.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

A lot opf bloodwood will have a fusia color to it when freshly sanded and finished. Then after a while it will turn to a redish brown.
