I've never been bowfishing, never killed a critter with my bow, BUT i have a Gator Tag.
What do i need? Any of you done it before? All i have is my Black Widow and a bunch of questions. :confused:

If you haven't already done so, take a look at the article by Don Thomas in the June/July Traditional Bowhunter, "Big Lizards." A good primer. I've shot a lot of carp, buffalo (fish)and gar but don't have access to gators. Good luck.

Hmmm, that Don Thomas article sounds familiar.
Go to the dangerous game forum. There is some info there. There's a bunch of different ways to do it. Just make sure the way you choose is safe and that you have fun.
