« on: July 23, 2008, 04:02:00 PM »
I'm shooting a Black Widow PSA 52lb at 28". I draw 27 3/4 - 28. Which Carbon Exspress Heratige would you recomend. 250 or 350. Id like to shoot abound a 160gr broadhead...Thanks, Dave

Definitely the 250s. They spine out at 84#. I shoot a 55#@28" recurve that is center cut and they fly great. But I had to add 100gr. brass inserts and 125gr. tips to get them to tune right. You may want to look at the 150s at 65# spine weight if you are wanting to stay with 160gr. heads.

Definitely the 150s, if ya cut them to 29"s and shoot 175 grains up front or so they will be perfect. The 250's as snag said wil need to be 29"s or so and you will need 225 plus for great flight. Shawn

My 250's are cut @ 30.5" with 250 gr up front plus the insert what ever that wieghs and I'm shooting them out of a 55#@ 28 drawn 28 LB

On my 58# LB I needed to pad the side plate since I had cut the arrows down to 29.5" and they seem a bit stiff

I gotta agree with Shawn and gednrally speaking he hits the carbon arrow thing pretty close for folks

Good luck
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

Here is one for you guys.  I have a Black Widow PSR (50's style with longbow type handle).  Bow is 54#@29" (my draw length), cut to center.  I would like to use 125 or 150 grain heads and could use either 50 or 100 grain brass inserts.  Total weight, I would hope to get close to 10gpp.  Thanks fellas...Mike

250s if they are 31: with 100gr brass insert and 225 gr tip otherwise chose 150 @30" with 100gr Insert and almost any broadhead weight 125 and up you will have a good set up   :bigsmyl:
