Git R Done carbon shafts??????
« on: February 22, 2007, 01:24:00 AM »
Any one here using these?  Have checked out the site and sure do like the price.  Would love to hear from those of you who are shooting these, also what length, draw weight, and which spines you are using.

I wrote to Dennis today and he is out of the size for lower poundage bows (I only shoot 40#) but is getting a bunch of them in soon.  Pete Ward was the one who put me onto them - he seems to know what he is talking about - so that's good enough for me!

PS - However - don't take any notice of me.  I am not a self-appointed expert in carbons.  I have never shot them before and am in transition from alloys to carbon!!

A friend of mine is shooting the 55-70's out of a 56 lb Caribow Peregrine longbow. 100 gr. brass insert and a 250 gr. point. They seem to be really good shafts for the price. If I didn't have an overabundance of arrows already I would order some.

Best carbon shaft for the money ANYWHERE!!!!  I have been shooting them since winning some on the St. Judes Auction.  You will not be sorry for buying them or for doing business with Dennis.  Fine product and a fine man to do business with.

I have been shopoting all of the sizes and Models he has. Great shafts, and for the money you can't beat them. They are what I shoot now for everything .
There is lots of hype ablout carbon and a lot of guys are being sucked in to thinking they need expensive shafts . It's the shooter, not the shaft boys.Advertising has folks brainwashed about straightness measurements that are so small you can barely see them.

I had open class compound shooters test the Cheapest Shafts Dennis has and they stacked toutching each other. What more do we need.
I see guys with 200 dollar shafts flying like a twisted stick because they don't know how to tune. Save some cash and tune your arrows.

also, HEATSEEKER 200 45/60 : are these the weakest spine; or is there a weaker one that you will show, later?

I think there is one weaker and if so he should have them soon.  He has a shaft order in the works now.  I would email or call him to find out.

He is out of 30/45 but has some new stuff on the horizon for light shafts that won't break the bank.
He also has some good "Git-er-done" fletchers for $30 Can. and is getting in the Cavalier Elite Cordovan tab and has Check-mate bows in stock.

You are a legend Big Pete.  You saved me a heap of cash!!  Some bloke at the club where I shoot in Sydney said I should get the Goldtips from the B/W site.  I jumped on and saw that they were about $80 per dozen.   With exchange rate that is over a hundred Auss $$, then postage on top of that.  I think 'Gold' would have been the operative word!#$%&$%&*!!  That was when I contacted you!!

Pete,
I was on the Patriot website, and it said they were going to no longer make arrows.  Is anyone going to manufacture these shafts for them in the future?  If not, is Dennis going to carry another line of shafts that is reasonably priced?  Thanks!

Bill

Can't believe the price - and I just ordered shafts elsewhere.  I hope he can keep decent shafts at those prices - they're unbelievable.
