Another EFOC post...my results!!
« on: July 26, 2008, 03:14:00 PM »
I know the powwow is cluttered with these posts but I figured I'd throw my results up here as well.

Bow: PSAV 62" 50#@28 drawing 47#
Arrow: 28 1/2 Axis 500 brass insert w/ total tip weight @ 275g

Well I went out there and measured everything the total arrow weight came out to 455g 16gpi and my FOC came in at 25.

I was surprised it was going to be that high but I guess with such a short arrow it is what it is.

I was worried about how it would be adjusting to these arrows from my cedars but in a few minutes I was drillin the 3D's at 20yards like it was nothing.  These things are so much faster them my cedars its not even funny.  And the penetration over my cedars is exactly double shooting side by side.

Hey Tom, that is some serious FOC. Doesn't surprise me though. All the Widows I've shot sure seem to like that 9-10gpp regardless what the average gpi is. All these threads about EFOC has got me itching to do some experimenting my self, but with all my recent bow purchases I'm pretty busy just getting used to the different bows.

See you Sunday.
