New bow arrived today!
« on: August 02, 2008, 01:50:00 PM »
I just got my new bow from Keith Chastain of Wapiti Custom Bows. It took me about 20 minutes to get it set up and shooting some chundoo shafts really well. This is my second bow from Keith and I really do enjoy shooting his bows.

Bow stats: 58" and 57#'s at 27". The riser is woodland kamo with an ironwood crescent on the grip and a narrow cocobolo wave up the middle. The limbs have the standard Maple SA with black glass.

I have one of Keith's 3pc takedowns...Cocobolo riser with Osage crescent wave, Osage limbs.
He builds a commercial, industrial strength bow, that shoots great and Keith is very easy to work with.

Had one of Kieth's 56 in. sa recurves some time ago and it is a great shooting and very fast. I shoot longbows so I finally sold it to a friend who just loves it. Kieth makes some great bows and has been at it for many years. Great limb design!!

That ironwood looks cool with the woodland camo.  Very nice looking bow for sure.
