I just got done making up some ash arrows for the Muzzy 'cause I got a tendency to m..mmm..miss and I don't want to be breaking every other arrow. They are tapered ash, 28" BOP, and came out at 750Gr with a judo.
Are they TOO heavy for the bow I'm shooting? The spine is right where I want them but I think they're going to drop like a lead balloon.

your bow will be very quite, They shouldn't be, but take one out side and shoot it.

The Muzzy Shoot is an arrow eater so I think tough as nails shafts like yours are a great idea. Some fellas use heavy bomb proof arrows for the close shots and light weight ones for the looooong open shots.
But then... If your arrow hits the post it may rock the target off for a point.

For Muzzy...they'd be way,way too heavy for me! I shoot footed carbons now about 9.5 GPP.....but I did win once with cedars back in '97.....
Muzzy is about knowing where your arrow will be at certain points on it's path to the target. It's all about trajectory, sometimes you'll want flat, but a few it helps to lob....They're not always what they seem to be.....
You'll have a blast!!!
